One of our teachers, Andy, loves to experiment with traditional Scottish recipes and his speciality is shortbread. So what is shortbread?
Well, despite its name, it's not a kind of bread, it's a delicious buttery biscuit which is popular here in Scotland and all around the world too. Shortbread is traditionally served at Christmas and New Year but can be enjoyed at any time with a nice 'cuppa' tea or maybe a wee dram of whisky.
